No less than eight teams
emerged from Tuesday's High Point
Gridiron scrapping with undefeated
ledgers.

The hottest contest for first
place is shaping up in Division A
where four teams sport identical
2-0 records. One of the four is
bound to fall off that pinnacle as
unbeatens Sigma Chi and Sigma Pi
confront each other in Mad Bowl
today at four p.m. Monday Sigma
Chi downed Phi Delt 12-6, and
Sigma Pi buried PEP 34-6.

Zete and SAE, the other fraternities
which lead Division A with
2-0 marks, overcame Phi Sig (26-6)
and KA (7-6 in overtime) on
Monday. This afternoon Zete is idle
but SAE takes on Phi Sig.

Division C has another title
scrap shaping up this afternoon
when Chi Phi and ATO, both 2-0,
meet at four on the Alderman Road
field. ATO won the high-score
Kewpie doll Monday for its 47-6
blasting of Kappa Sig while Chi Phi
overcame Theta Chi 20-6. Pi Kap,
also 2-0, downed Sigma Nu 25-6.

In other Group C games today
SPE (a 7-0 loser to DU Monday)
meets Sigma Nu and Theta Chi
engages DU.

Division D has three unbeaten
teams at the top of the standings,
all with 1-0 ledgers. ZBT, Theta
Delt and St. Elmo, all of which sat
out the Monday games lead the
group. Today St. Elmo takes on
Theta Delt and ZBT plays PiKa
(0-1). DKE, TKE, Phi Kap and
Sigma Phi sit out today.

In Division B Teta is all alone at
the top with a 2-0 record after
edging Phi Psi 14-13 on Monday
AEPi pulled off the big upset of the
season Monday when they edged
Phi Gam 7-6 in overtime

Today Phi Gam and Phi Psi,
both 1-1, oppose each other. Also
AEPi, 1-1, meets St. Anthony,
which evened its record at 1-1 with
a 26-12 win over Delta Sig Monday.
The Delta Sigs have the ignominious
pleasure of playing the
division leading Betas.
