Wednesday night's Awards Banquet
marked the conclusion
of Coach Ralph Law's 1967-68
highly successful swimming season.
Led by Co-captains Jack
Wilson and Terry Gromel,
breakers of a number of school
records, the team amassed a record
of eight wins against two
losses.

Three awards, given annually
to the team's outstanding first-year
men, went to Pete Swart,
Bob Sinnott, and John Shrum.
Swart received the Most Valuable
Swimmer award among the yearlings,
while Sinnott was named
Most Improved and Shrum Best
Swimmer.

Among Coach Law's upper
classmen, Ken Bishop was given
the Most Dependable Award,
while fellow diver Jim Busch merited
the Most Improved. Both
are fourth-year men. Third-year
man Jim Sonborn won the Best
Spirit Award, and fourth-year man
Phil Ronniger the Best Swimmer
Award.

Finally, Co-captain Wilson was
awarded the Most Valuable Swimmer
and High Scorer Awards. Co captain
Gromel received the
vaunted Brook-Maurer Award for
outstanding leadership.
