Colonel's Cup
Up For Grabs

Once again the Colonel's Cup
is at stake as the Virginia Rugby
Club meets the Washington Club
this Sunday afternoon. The Cup
is awarded annually by Colonel
Van Orman, a loyal friend of the
ruggers, to the winner of the Virginia-Washington
match.

The ruggers should be at full
strength for the first time this
year. Leading scorer Julian Rainey
returns this weekend with repaired
knees and new kicking shoes. The
Virginia scrummers will average
205 pounds and 6′ 1″ per man.

The Cavalier Ruggers hope to
stretch their win streak to four
games. They are undefeated and
only twice have they been scored
upon. The match will be played
on Memorial Gym Field at 2 p.m.
Bring blankets, beer, and dates.
