Who Else But The UCLAns?

UCLA and N.C. State
continue to run 1-2 in the
latest UPI rankings with
spotless records, but the rest of
the poll is fast becoming
obsolete.

In Monday night action
three teams in the top ten
found themselves with losses
tacked on to their ledgers.
State, which garnered all the
second-place votes save one
which went to Southwest
Louisiana, survived sixth
ranked UNC with a 73-70 win.

Fourth-place Indiana was
edged out by oft-beaten Ohio
State, 70-69 and Alabama
fell to Ole Miss, 80-68.
