Fraternities Midway Through Winter IM Competition

High Point basketball moved
into its third week of action with
eleven teams as yet undefeated and
thirteen teams without a victory to
date. As of press time, and without
the results of the important
upcoming games between AEPi
against KA and SPE against PiKA,
the division standings are as
follows:

With the most games played per
team in the section, Division A is
led by Phi Delt and PEP with two
wins each. Phi Gam, Delta Sig, and
Sigma Pi are right behind with one
loss apiece. Sigmas Nu and Chi
currently lead the Division B teams
with two wins apiece along with St.
A's.

C Section, rumored to be the
toughest division of them all this
season, has ATO and SPE leading
with two wins apiece while PiKA is
undefeated after playing only one
game. Division D is well balanced in
its standings with three teams in the
lead (AEPi, KA and Zete) with two
wins each, two teams playing .500
ball and three teams without a win.

IM boxing workouts are
presently being held every
afternoon in Memorial Gym in
preparation for the upcoming
qualification matches.

The famous and ever popular
Tug-of-War quarterfinals,
semi-finals, and finals will all be
held at three o'clock this Friday
afternoon. The eight teams of
strongmen that will pull Friday will
be paired as follows: Sigma Chi vs.
Zete, Sigma Nu vs. AEPi, Phi Delt
vs. SAM, and Sigma Pi vs. Phi Kap.

The Bowling tournament has
also gotten underway with ten
teams still among the undefeated.
In Division A, AEPi is 2-0 while DU
and SAE are 1-0. PiKa has the lone
unblemished mark in Group B at
2-0.
