'Counting On Our Fans' - Gibson

"We're most thankful for
the enthusiastic student
support we have received from
our fans. Our promotion, with
help from many of you who
believe in our program, showed
encouraging results at both of
our home games — an ACC
Atmosphere was born, and
with birth there is growth.
Thank you!

We hope the enthusiasm
and attendance will continue.
However, unlike some other
schools, we want to be unique
in displaying sportsmanship
and enthusiasm, with no use
whatsoever for rowdyism. In
other words, let's channel our
feelings and emotions in a
constructive fashion, a fashion
which will epitomize the
greatness of Sports and the
University. Your help in
making this a reality will be
appreciated.

The schedule for the month
of January is extremely tough
and we'll have to play our best
to win our share. We know we
have a rough road to hoe and
we're counting on our fans to
help us through some rough
spots. Any team can beat any
other team on a given night.
