The famed forecasters of the
south have cast their ballots for this
week's favorites on the gridiron,
and much to the dismay of Purdue,
Ohio State has been established an
8-0 favorite in the game of the
week. In fact the Purdue squad was
so disheartened, the Cavalier Daily
has already received threatening
phone calls from members of the
Boilermaker squad.

Still members of the prognostication
board have decided to go
through with their weekly printing
in hopes that by the time the dust
and smoke has cleared Saturday
afternoon, Rox Kern, Jim Otis and
gang will have continued with their
once a week picnics, this time at
the hands of the visitors from
Indiana.

In other big games, Yale knocks
heads with Princeton in Tigertown,
and here the crystal ball gazers are
not quite as definite in their pick.
Yale is a 5-3 favorite. Other 5-3
favorites include those deep South
Auburnboys over rival Georgia, and
the king Boilermaker of all, Frank
Howard and his Clemson squad
over North Carolina.
