Bowling Club Opens
Practice Sessions Today

The University of Virginia
Bowling Club opens its practice
session Thursday, Sept. 28 at
4:00 p.m.
Returning are Virginia's
two big guns from last season,
captain Dave Butler and
fourth-yearman Gary Dungan,
as well as Ed Rogers, Tom
Brittain and Andy Humm, who
should contribute significantly
to this year's squad.
The keglers are members of
the northern division of the
Southern Intercollegiate
Bowling Conference, and
according to Dave Butler, will
face their toughest competition
from Maryland, North
Carolina, and VPI.
Due to the graduation of
many team members last year,
anyone who can maintain a
170 average is being
encouraged to join the club. A
women's team is also being
formed.
Also the co-ed handicap
bowling league begins
Thursday.
