Virginia defeated Tennessee for
the Southern Intercollegiate Bowling
Conference Championship on
Saturday, April 11, in Greensboro,
North Carolina. Tennessee had won
the lower division title by one half
game over second place Georgia
Tech; Virginia finished five and one
half games ahead of second place
Maryland in the upper division.
The Finals: 5 man team, 3 game
match, with total pins to determine
the winner.
