Cavayearlings Face Terps
This afternoon the Cavayearlings,
under the direction of Coach
Bill Clay, will travel up to College
Park, Maryland to square off
against the Baby Terps.
This is the second game in as
many weeks for the first-year men,
who must start to mount an
offense. A week ago today, it was
the impervious defense who led the
team to a scoreless standoff against
the Little Turkeys of Virginia Tech.
In an interview yesterday, Coach
Clay said several things have happened
that he feels will take his
charges to their initial victory.
First, the injury situation has
cleared up to a great degree.
Powerful fullback Chuck Belle has
been practicing this past week and
is ready to go, and is expected to
improve a weak ground game.

But with another week of
experience behind them-and exceptionally
high spirits going for them,
the Cavayearlings promise to be a
formidable opponent today.
