of Whitehall on Route 614, northwest of
Charlottesville, off the intersection of Route
29 and Barracks Road. Riverdale Farms was
originally named "Midway" because of its

and Charlottesville. The dwelling was
constructed of brick made on the property;
the west end was built in 1765 and the east
in 1807 by the sons of the original owner.

Yule Farm–Located on Route 614 on
the Whitehall Road, just past Riverdale
Farms on the left. Yule Farm is a 20th
century clapboard farmhouse which was
remodeled by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miller in
1940. It was enlarged in 1954 when Mr.
Miller retired from the diplomatic service.

Verulam–Located on the Bloomfield
Road, Route 677 off Route 250 two miles
west of Farmington. The name, "Verulam",
is found in the records of Albemarle County
