No Change in Grid Top 20
USC, Oklahoma Still One-Two

Southern Cal barely
managed to retain its standing,
but nevertheless came out
ahead in this week's top 20,
with a 30-21 win over
Stanford.
UPI's choice for second
place was Oklahoma (3-0)
who after seeing no action
last week, will try 11th ranked
Texas on for size this Saturday.
Alabama holds on to third
after a 25-7 fling over Georgia,
and Ohio State placed fourth,
besting California, 35-18. At
the quarter mark is Nebraska,
who did not touch the turf last
weekend, and close behind in
the sixth position, boasting a
significant 35-7 victory over
Navy, is Michigan.
Number seven is Notre
Dame; while Louisiana moves
up to the eighth.
Looking most impressive is
Auburn, who must have been
riding on a cloud of cotton,
Saturday, as it floated past
Mississippi 19-13, and hoisted
up four notches from the 13th
to the ninth position. A good
contest is promised this week,
as Auburn returns to Dixieland
for a game against Louisiana
State.
