Wahoo Malletmen
Ready For Alumni

Sunday afternoon at Brook Hill
Farm, at 2:30 p.m. the polo team
plays its second encounter of the
fall season. After an easy victory
over the University of Pennsylvania
last week in the season opener,
the team is looking to the upcoming
game against the Virginia
Alumni with great anticipation.

However, speaking at a team
meeting earlier in the week, Virginia
coach Harry Robertshaw
noted that the Alumni cannot be
beaten with the caliber of polo
which defeated Pennsylvania.

Led by veteran Zenas Colt from
New York City, the Alumni pack
a great deal of power. Nationally
rated at two goals, Colt has played
many a game at Brook Hill but
has never defeated the varsity. He
will definitely be looking for a
victory.

Assisting Colt will be two outstanding
younger members of the
polo fraternity.

Fred Peterson is a 1964 graduate
of the University and a former
captain of the team. Now rated
at two goals, he was a member
of the only team which defeated
the Cavaliers during their fall 1966
season.

Due to his excellent knowledge
of polo as well as his familiarity
with the Brook Hill field and the
team's mounts, he presents a strong
threat to the Cavalier defense.

Roger Rinchart, the third
Alumnus, is a resident of
Charlottesville and is rated by the
United States Polo Association at
one goal. He plays a strong, aggressive
game and, due to his
accuracy around the goal, will
probably ride in the number one
position.
