The Discrete Charm of the
Bourgeois (University; check
date and times; $2 except $1
during Good Neighbor Hour)
Luis Bunuel's totally mad film
about the fantasies of a small
group of bourgeois Frenchmen.
The plot, if you care to call it
that, centers around a dinner
party that never happens.
Think of the wildest disasters
you can imagine possibly to
prevent a dinner from being
held, and even then you still
haven't come close to the
insanity of which Bunuel is
capable. Check theater for
dates; Cabaret may be held
over for week.
