New Look For C & C Staff, Book

New Look
For C & C
Staff, Book

"Virginia has a new look - so
does the 1971 Corks and Curls," so
says attractive Virginia Fedders
from Mary Baldwin, who is the
Corks and Curls poster girl for the
fall advertising campaign. According
to editor Barry Leader, this
"new look" will be two-fold a
new look in organization and layout
of the yearbook, plus a new
look in the actual content of the
book.

The staff organization will be
basically the same, with participants
from all classes and many
schools helping with the literary
and business side of the year-book
planning. The new look is the additional
photography equipment
supplied by Carol Studios and American
Yearbook, plus two professional
photographers from New
York who will be on hand at several
University events during the year to
snap pictures. These new photographers,
added to the small but
competent staff of student photographers,
should help the Corks and
Curls capture more and better pictures
of the University than ever
before.

What the Corks and Curls need,
though, is new talent and creative
imagination from the entering
first-year class. The first-year man
who shows an interest can work in
any area of yearbook organization -
from photography to layouts to
subscriptions to advertising. The
Corks and Curls offices, open from
2 to 5 p.m. daily, are located on the
5th floor of Newcomb all Interested
first-year men are invited to
come by, look around, and ask
questions. Also, the Corks and
Curls will have a booth at Activities
night for all those who wish to sign
up to have a part in this "new
look" yearbook for 1971.
