at various spots on the line where the Cavaliers are possibly
two-deep, but beyond that, the situation gets critical. As Cavalier
mentor Blackburn put it, "The one thing we can't afford is
injuries. If we can get through the season without injuries, we're
going to have a good football team."

Schedule-wise, the Cavaliers will have some rough games on
the road, particularly against pre-season Conference favorite
North Carolina, Clemson and N.C. State. Beyond that, we can go
out on a limb and say that the Cavaliers stand a good chance of
winning every home game this season.

Overall, the Cavaliers show a tremendous amount of promise
for 1970. Taking the line of least resistance, we're reluctant as the
next man to place any stamp on the Wahoos for this season.

Suffice it to say, though, that Virginia is going to surprise a lot
of people.
