Liquid Reaction
Program Here

Catalytic reactions in liquids will be
discussed tomorrow at a University
chemical engineering colloquium.

Milos Marek, assistant professor of
chemical engineering at the Institute of
Chemical Technology in Prague,
Czechoslovakia, will discuss "Multiplicity and
Stability in Reactions on Porous Catalysts."

Mr. Marek, who is visiting professor at the
University of Waterloo in Canada this year, is
best known for his work on the interaction of
transport processes and reaction in chemical
and biological systems.

The lecture, which is cosponsored by the
department of chemical engineering in the
School of Engineering and Applied Science and
the Industrial Research and Development
Center, begins at 3 p.m. tomorrow in room 126
of the aero-mechanical building and is open to
the public.
