Scholarship Program Established
For Study At Hebrew University

program for a year of

University has in the past accepted
students for a year of study abroad,
but next year will mark the first
time that any financial aid will be
available.
The scholarships, ranging up to
$2,900, are being offered to both
graduate and undergraduate
students for the coming academic
year. As in most financial programs
of this type, the amount of the
scholarships and their recipients
will be determined by the economic
needs of the applicants.
The scholarships are open to all
qualified students irrespective of
race religion. To be eligible, the
candidate must simply meet the
admission requirements of The

The University,
founded in 1918, offers courses in
agriculture, medicine, dentistry,
science, the social sciences, law, the
humanities, education, social work,
pharmacy, library science, Asian
and African studies, and Jewish
studies. It has an enrollment of
more than 12,000 students coming
from over 50 different countries.
The deadline for applications is
March 15,1969 and any applicants
