Library Schedules Installment
Of New Smith-Corona Copier
Within the next three weeks
a new coin-operated Smith-Corona
copier will be installed
in the Reserve Book Room in
Alderman Library. This machine,
plus the Smith-Corona already in
the Reserve Book Room, will
give the library two coin-op
copiers.
The Xerox 2400 copier, which
must be operated by a library
assistant, will be moved from
the fourth floor to the photographic
laboratory on the first
floor of the library. Another
copier, the Xerox 720, will remain
in the laboratory.
Both the 2400 and the 720
machines will copy on bond
paper, and those desiring copies
of theses and dissertations may
have them copied by a member
of the photographic department
staff. Special rates for these and
other large orders are posted in
the laboratory and the photographic
department office.
The 2400 and the 720 are
also available for copying notes,
selections from books, and single
items. After the Christmas holidays,
these copiers will be in
operation Monday through Friday
from 8 until 5 and on Saturday
from 8:30 until 12:30.
