First-Year Associations To Meet

All first-year College
students are required to attend
Association meetings in the
Chemistry Building auditorium
on Nov. 15, 16 and 20.

The schedule is the
Kent-Dabney Association on
Nov. 15, at 7 p.m., with Dean
Gordon M. Stewart; the
Echols-Humphreys Association
on Nov. 16 at 8:30 p.m., with
Dean Fred A. Diehl; the
Page-Emmet Association on
Nov. 16 at 9:30 p.m., with
Dean Kenneth G. Elzinga.

The Bonnycastle-Hancock
Association will meet on Nov.
20 at 7 p.m., with Dean Wayne
A. Wallace; the Alderman Road
Association on Nov. 20 at 8
p.m., with Dean Ellin Deese
and the Lefevre-Metcalf
Association on Nov. 20 at 9
p.m., with Dean John Y.
Graham.

The Association for Special
Scholars and the Observatory
Hill Association will not have
meetings at this time.

Medical Discussion

"Coercion in Clinical
Decisions," will be the topic of
a discussion sponsored by the
Medical School today at 1 p.m.
in the school's Auditorium.
The discussion is part of the
school's program in Human
Biology and Society.

Participants in the
discussion will be Dr. Joseph
Fletcher, Visiting Professor of
Medical Ethics; Dr. Edward W.
Hook, Professor of Medicine;
Dr. Lockhart B. McGuire,
Associate Professor of
Medicine and Dr. Stanton P.
Nolan, Assistant Professor of
Surgery.

Nader's Raiders Meet

There will be an
organizational meeting of the
Charlottesville chapter of
Ralph Nader's Campaign Clean
Water project tomorrow.
Members of Mr. Nader's
Washington staff will meet
with interested citizens and
students at 7:30 in room 4B of
Newcomb Hall.

'Documentary Research'

Dr. William M. Franklin,
Historical Office director of
the State Department, will
speak on "Documentary
Research in Foreign Policy", in
the Informal Lounge,
Newcomb Hall this afternoon
at 1:30.

The Woodrow Wilson
Department of Government
and Foreign Affairs and the
History Department is
sponsoring the meeting.

Faculty and students
pursuing research in
international relations and
American foreign policy are
invited to attend this meeting.

Raven Society Electee

Fourth-year Architecture
student John S. Palmer III was
also elected to the Raven
Society last Thursday
night.
