Children's Workshop Planned

The Children's Theater
Workshop, a non-profit
organization funded in part by
Public Broadcasting and the
United States Office of
Education, will present a
program to provide guidelines
to best utilize the
workshop-produced television
shows, Sesame Street and The
Electric Company.

Aimed at parents, teachers
and volunteers who work with
children, the program offered
tomorrow at 7 p.m. in the
University Hall Press Room is
open to the public at no
cost.

LEG Meeting

The Legal Environment
Group will meet tonight to
discuss the semester's activities.

The group will meet at 7:30
in Clark Hall Room 307. All
interested persons are invited
to attend.

WTJU Airs Speech

Tonight WTJU (91.3 FM)
will rebroadcast Sen. Hubert
Humphrey's speech to the
Student Legal Forum of last
Thursday. The speech will air
at 8 p.m.

WTJU will present
a special salute   to
composer George Frederick
Handel beginning Thursday
night to commemorate his
288th birthday.

Teri Towe will host the
program, which will last from 6
p.m. Thursday until 7 a.m.
Friday.

Sex Survey

The sponsors of the Sexual
Behavior Survey request that
all outstanding surveys be
returned without name tags to
Resident Staff or Student
Council members this week.

So far, only 31 per cent of
the questionnaires have been
returned. This sampling will
not provide valid statistical
data.

IMP Forks Members

The IMP Society tapped
four new members during its
Mid-Winter's Weekend march
Saturday night. Tapped were
Carey Deeley, fourth-year man
from Riderwood, Md.; Pat
Graney, second-year from
Mount Hope, W. Va.; Janet
Palmer, third-year, Springfield,
Va.; and Larry Sabato,
third-year, Norfolk, Va. All
four are students in the
College of Arts and Sciences.

Black Culture

Black Culture Festival's
Local Day will be held today in
Newcomb Hall Ballroom at 3
p.m.

English Prof. Houston A.
Baker will speak on "Black
Culture, White Judgment."
"Mantu," a drams group of
black University students, will
read poetry selections and
"Black Voices," a group of
gospel singers, will also
participate in the
program.
