Blood Donors
Drive Underway

A community wide blood drive
sponsored by the Zeta Beta Tau
fraternity in cooperation with the
National Red Cross and the University
Hospital will begin this Wednesday,
February 24.

On that day the bloodmobile will
operate from noon until 5:30 in the
afternoon at the Westminster
Presbyterian Church on Rugby Road.
Refreshments will be served, and a center will
be established to care for the children of the
donors.

The drive will continue until Easters
Weekend. After Wednesday, donors may give
blood at the Barringer Wing of the University
Hospital.

The University Union announced that it will
donate one keg of beer to any university
organization or dormitory with the greatest
amount of participation in the drive.

The National Red Cross at present has a
program in which, if twenty members of an
organization donate blood, then for a period of
one year any member of that organization will
receive free blood when needed. Also, if a
student donates blood, then any member of his
immediate family will receive free blood when
needed.

Those who need rides may call Zeta Beta
Tau fraternity at 295-9118 before noon on
Wednesday.
