University Approaches 'Old Age'

These pictures might give one the
impression that the University is finally
starting to crumble away. The picture
below shows a flagstone step in front of
Newcomb Hall which has been broken for
some weeks. The photograph to the left is
of a pillar on the west colonnade of the
Rotunda which has crumbled recently.
Actually though, the well-kept Grounds
in general show that the building
and Grounds Department is on the job.
