Nuclear Reactor Open House
There will be an open house
at the Nuclear Reactor facility
primarily for first-year
Engineering students tomorrow
night at 7 p.m. Transportation
will be provided, leaving from
in front of Thornton Hall from
7 to 8:30 p.m. at 15 minute
intervals.
The two-megawatt nuclear
research reactor will be in
operation and nuclear
laboratory experiments will
be on display. The University
community is also invited.
Vehicle Regulations
The University Traffic and
Parking Committee is currently
reviewing the University Motor
Vehicle Regulations prior to
revision and publication of
1973-74 Regulations.
Persons wishing to suggest
changes or modifications to the
existing regulations are
encouraged to submit written
memos to one of the following
Committee members: Mr.
Bruce Thompson, Assistant
Director of the Hospital; Mr.
Lynn Ivey, Student Council
Office Mr. John Gregg,
Director of Parking and Transit
Facilities.
Summer Session
The 1973 Summer Session
Preliminary Announcement is
now available in the Summer
Session office, Garrett Hall.
Office hours are from 8 a.m. to
1 p.m. and from 2 to 5 p.m.
No Preliminary
Announcements will be mailed
to students currently attending
classes on the grounds.
Career Planning
Brian M. Austin, Asst.
Director of Training and
Research for the Counseling
Center will conduct short-term
counseling groups aimed at
aiding underclassmen in
academic and career planning
beginning 1 p.m. Thursday.
The groups will consist of
five or six sessions in which
students will have an
opportunity to learn more
about themselves through
psychological testing and group
activity.

Bicycle Meeting
The Student Bicycle,
Traffic and Parking Committee
will meet today at 2:30
