Last Day To Add
Today is the last day to
turn in add cards to the College
of Arts and Sciences. Cards will
be accepted in the lobby of
Old Cabell Hall from 9 a.m.
until 4 p.m. After today,
courses can be added only
through a petition to the Dean
of College.
The last day to drop a
course without a failing grade
is February 27; drop cards
will be accepted until that date
in 430 Cabell Hall.
Vandy Scholarships
Vanderbilt University Law
School is awarding five $5,000
per year Patrick Wilson
Scholarships to members of its
entering class this fall.
Academic potential and
personal qualities are highly
weighted in the selection
process, conducted by a
committee designated by the
granting foundation. Need is
not a criterion.
Applications will be
accepted until February 10.
Information and forms may be
obtained at the Pre-Law Office,
5 Minor.Hall.
Aid Recipients
Students who qualify for
financial assistance are
reminded that, in order to be
eligible to receive the
off-grounds housing allowance,
they must apply for
on-grounds housing by the
February 9th lottery deadline.
Then, if they are not offered
on-grounds housing by 1 May
1973, their financial assistance
will automatically be increased
to reflect the cost of living
off-grounds.
Topics Course
A new special topics course,
History of Civil Engineering,
(CE 452) is being offered
under Prof. Abdur Rahim. The
course will emphasize the close
relationship between civil
engineering and other spheres
of cultural history. Many
monuments will be studied,
including the Taj Mahal and
