Corks & Curls Now Available

"Corks and Curls" will be
distributed today through
Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the
Corks and Curls offices on fifth
floor Newcomb Hall.

All unpaid subscriptions
will be canceled after May 11
and all new subscriptions at
$12.50.

Cheerleaders

Third-year College student
Gloria Kasey and second-year
College student John Gordon
will serve as co-captains for the
1973-74 University
cheerleading squad.

First-year College students
on the squad are Yolanda
Burrell, Betsy Dworshak, and
Karen Williams. Second-year
College students Linda
artlett, Valerie Smith, Mike
Guthrie and Zebedee Wooten
were also selected.

Council Volunteers

Student Council needs
volunteer help during the
summer months. Any student
who would like to work on
Council summer activities
should sign up at Council
offices on fourth floor
Newcomb Hall or call Larry
Sabato at 924-3454.

Library Hours

Due to upcoming exams,
Alderman Library will extend
its hours beginning May 16 and
ending May 29 to provide quite
study space. But because of a
limited staff, book checkout
and reference services will not
be extended.

The library will be open
from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday
through Friday, 8 a.m. to 10
p.m. on Saturday and noon to
1 a.m. on Sunday. Areas open
for study are the stacks, reserve
room, browsing room
documents reading room and
periodicals room.

The circulation and
reference room will be claose
at 11:30 each night, but on
Saturday evening ll services will
be available to students.

Culinary Festival

The University Union will
sponsor the third round of
their Culinary Festival at the
new Japanese Steak House of
Four Seasons on May 15.
