Warren Nutter Named
AEI Adjunct Scholar

By VICTOR PERRY III

G. Warren Nutter, former
Assistant Secretary of Defense
for International Security
Affairs under President Nixon,
has been named an adjunct
scholar at the American
Enterprise Institute (AEI) for
Public Policy Research.

Mr. Nutter recently
returned to the University after
a three year leave of absence.

As an AEI adjunct scholar,
Mr. Nutter will aid the
Washington-based institute in
research, analysis and
evaluation of public issues.

In announcing the
appointment, AEI President
William J. Baroody said, "Dr.
Nutter is especially
well-qualified as an adjunct
scholar because of his expertise
and experience in both
economics and international
affairs."

"His experience, counseling,
and scholarship will be
beneficial, and a valuable
contribution to the type of
in-depth studies AEI does on
domestic and international
issues," he said.

"I am very pleased to have
an opportunity to work with
an organization that has
exerted so much influence on
public affairs," Mr. Nutter said.
"AEI has earned the respect of
the defense community for its
objective stance on matters
affecting the national
security."
