Lawn Applications Available

Preliminary applications for
rooms on the Lawn, the
Ranges and in the Crackerbox
are now available at the
Housing Assignment Office in
the basement of Page House.

Those eligible for rooms on
the Lawn and in the
Crackerbox are undergraduate
and graduate degree
candidates. Applicants must
have at least a 2.5 academic
average and must have shown
"outstanding service and
evidence of devotion to the
University in activities outside
the classroom," according to
Housing Director Ralph E.
Main.

Lawn and Crackerbox
applications must be submitted
on or before Monday,
February 12, 1973.

Only graduate students "in
good standing" who have
attended the University for at
least two semesters are eligible
for rooms on the Ranges.
Applications for these rooms
will be accepted only on
Thursday and Friday Feb. 15
and 16. Range selections will
be made by lottery.

The Housing Office has also
announced that dormitory
space for the 1973-1974
session will be distributed by
lottery. Lottery forms are now
available in the Housing
Assignment Office. These
forms must be returned by
February 9, 1973.

Overseas Job

A representative from the
Defense Intelligence Agency,
Washington, D.C., will
interview language majors in
French, Portuguese or Spanish
who are interested in jobs
overseas.

The interviews will be held
on Wednesday, Jan. 31 from 9
am. to 4 p.m. at the Officer of
Career Planning and Placement,
5 Minor Hall. For further
information and to arrange an
interview, contact the office.

Contract Transfers

Those students wishing to
transfer their contracts for the
Contract Cafeteria must do so
at the Food Services Division
offices on Thompson Road
before Feb. 2.

People interested who have
not found either a buyer or a
seller should consult a list of
both in the Student Council
offices by calling 924-3454.
