IMP Forks Eight New Members
The IMP Society tapped five
new members during its march
Saturday night, raising to eight
the number of students the
Society has honored this year.
Tapped during the
Homecomings Weekend march
were: L. Parkes Brittain, a
third-year man from Nashville,
Tenn; Joe Coci, fourth-year,
New Orleans, La.; Clarence B.
Cain, third-year, Newport
News, Va.; M. Ann Brown,
third-year, Mobile, Ala.; and
Barbara D. Savage, third-year,
Courtland, Va.
First Women IMPs
All five are students in the
University's College of Arts
and Science. Miss Savage and
Miss Brown become the first
women students to join either
of the ring societies at the
University.
Steven M. Johnson,
fourth-year College, Nashville,
Tenn, Stephen J. Sroba,
third-year College, Trevose,
Pa.; and Thomas R. Phillips,
fifth-year Engineering, Lorain,
Ohio, were tapped by the IMPs
on Oct. 14.

IMP Society Marches Into Kappa Sigma Fraternity To Tap New Members Saturday Night
the University who have
provided service to the school
through their roles in various
extracurricular activities. In
addition, the IMPs as a group
sponsor projects to aid in
various University programs.
