ODK Selects New Members

The Virginia Circle of Omicron Delta
Kappa, a national honorary society
recognizing student leadership,
announced the selection of new members
at its spring elections.

Students in the college who were
chosen for the society include Michael
"Buzzy" Waitzkin, fourth-year; Thomas
R. Bagby, third-year; Robert Proutt,
third-year; and Patrick Whitlow,
third-year.

Other undergraduate students selected for
the society are Daniel Garst, third-year
engineering; David M. Kunsman, fourth-year
engineering; John H. Pettey, fourth-year
commerce; Edward Kihm, fourth-year
education; and John E. Cole, fourth-year
architecture.

John Hopewell, was selected from the
Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Jack
Ansell was selected from the School of
Medicine. Four law students, Clarence Ridley,
third-year; C. Lee Fifer Jr., William Nelson, and
Bernard J. Carle, all second-year, also were
elected to the society.

Robert M. Bird, dean of the University of
Oklahoma and a graduate of the School of
Medicine, and John Rick II, a General Foods
executive and an alumnus of the graduate
business school, also were elected to the
society.
