Council Officer
Elections Tonight
At its weekly meeting tonight, the
Student Council will elect its officers for
the coming semester. This election
represents the last time that the Student
Council will elect its officers since its
recent action giving this vote to the
student body.
Potential candidates for the Presidency
reportedly include Steve Hayes and Charles
Murdock of the College Edwin inch of the
Law School, Tom Blin of the Graduate
School of Arts and Sciences, and former Vice
President Jim Roebuck of Graduate Arts and
Sciences.
The Vice Presidency has two reported
hopefuls, the present Secretary Kevin Mannix
and Tony Sherman of the College No grass
roots movements have developed for any
candidate for Secretary or Treasurer.
