Lawn Concert To Boost
Transition Fund Coffers

A concert in support of the
transition fund at the University
will take place next Sunday, May
11, from 2 to 7 p.m. on the Lawn.

All performers in the University
and Charlottesville area who are
willing to donate their time and
talent are asked to participate.
Folk, orchestral, jazz, and rock
groups are now scheduled to
perform with a possibility of
nationally-known groups being
signed.

The entire University community
is invited to attend the
concert. All university organizations
are also asked to support the
concert. Organizations who have
already given their names to support
the concert are The Cavalier
Daily, the University
Union, the Skull and Keys Society,
and the Sceptre Society.

Also supporting the concert are
the Corks and Curls the
UVM, the Charlottesville Draft
Counselors, and the Experimental
University. The Jefferson Society
and the Society of the Cornish
Game Hen have also given their
names in support of the project.

Any person or group who would
like to help the project by either
performing in the project or by
endorsing the effort are asked to
contact Paul Larsen.
