On Free Speech
In Russia Today

Freedom of expression in Russia
is the subject of a colloquium
sponsored by the University Center
for Russian and Communist Studies
and the Slavic Club, to be held
today at 2 p.m. in Cabell Hall.

The colloquium will be in the
form of four seminar-discussion
groups and an open forum.

Informal discussions on the
various topics of the colloquium
will also be held in the homes of
selected graduate students after the
evening forum.

Protest and censorship in Russia
will be discussed by various profession
from the University and from
other colleges at 8 p.m. in Newcomb
Hall.

Anyone who would like to
participate in the colloquium should
register at the Center for Russian
and Communist Studies in Randall
Hall or at the Department of
Germanic and Slavic Languages,
408 Brandon Avenue.
