Cutline Correction
The cutline in yesterday's Cavalier Daily advising students
of the relocation of the bank service in Newcomb Hall was
slightly inaccurate.
The bank involved is the National Bank and Trust
Company, not Virginia National Bank. This is the bank which
has a branch office at the University Diner end of the Corner,
not the one across from the geology building.
The bank's new location in Newcomb Hall is across from
the cafeteria, not adjacent to it.
According to a letter from National's president, the
Newcomb Hall office "has been established specifically to
serve the faculty, students, and staff. It is open six days a
week, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to
noon Saturday.
"It is not just a check cashing facility. Every commercial
banking service is available to you through this office except
safe deposit boxes."
Our apologies to National Bank and Trust Company for the
confusion.
