Funds For Nigeria, Biafra
Sought By Fraternity

Alpha Phi Omega national
service fraternity, working in
conjunction with UNICEF and the
International Red Cross, and with
the endorsement of the Student
Council an the Inter-Fraternity
Council, is asking students to
support the "Food for
Nigeria/Biafra Campaign."

Contributions to the drive will
be used to supply food and
medicine to the children and
mothers of Nigeria and Biafra.
Students have been asked by the
social fraternity to donate the
money equivalent of one meal to
help these needy people.

Students living in the
McCormick Road dormitories are
urged to attend corridor meetings
which will be held tonight.
Members of Alpha Phi Omega will
be present to accept all
contributions.

The visits are scheduled as
follows: Echols, at 8 p.m.;
Humphreys, 8:15; Lefevre, 8:30;
Metcaf, 8:45; Hancock, 9;
Bonneycastle, 9:15; Dabney, 9:30;
and Kent, 9:45.

If one wishes to make a
contribution and can attend the
meeting, Alpha Phi Omega urges
him to give his donation either to
his counselor or someone who will
be attending the meeting.

Members of the national
fraternity will visit the Alderman
Road and Observatory Hill
dormitories between the hours of 8
and 10 tonight.

For other students who wish to
make contributions, ballot boxes
are available on the Grounds at
Cabell Hall, Newcomb Hall,
Thornton Hall, the Corner, the
School of Medicine, and the nursing
school.
