University Pre-Medical Society
Hears Netsley At Ceremony
Virginia Gamma of Alpha
Epsilon Delta, the International
Pre-Medical Honor Society, held
its annual initiation ceremony on
Sunday, October 22, in Jefferson
Hall.
Dr. Martin G. Netsley of the
Department of Neuropathology
of the University's medical
school delivered the keynote
address.
He gave a provocative account
of the changes medical school
curricula are currently undergoing
in response to the vast increases
in medical knowledge
which must be absorbed by
medical students.
Dr. Netsley concluded with
some comments on the far-reaching
changes which may be
expected in medicine in the coming
years.
