Council Vacancy
College Council, composed
of the officers of the College
and the College's
representatives to Student
Council, will accept
applications for the vacant
Student Council seat forfeited
by second-year man Mark
Vorder Bruegge when he was
elected vice president of
Student Council last Thursday.
Mr. Vorder Bruegge's seat will
expire next December.
Applications are available in
Student Council's office on
Newcomb Hall's Fifth floor
and must be returned by 4
p.m. Thursday.
Russian Lecture
Russian History Prof.
Thomas T. Hammond will
present an illustrated lecture,
"The Soviet Union In
Pictures," tomorrow at 8:30
p.m. in Wilson Hall, Room
308.
The slides were taken by Mr.
Hammond on different trips to
the Soviet Union. Admission is
open to the public without
charge.
Association Meetings
Association Deans will meet
with their respective
Associations tomorrow and
Wednesday in the New
Chemistry Building
auditorium. All first-year
College students are required
to attend.
The Echols-Humphrey
Association will meet
tomorrow at 7 p.m. The
Alderman Road Association
