WTJU To Air Debate
University radio station
WTJU will broadcast an
election debate tonight at 8
p.m. between acting Seventh
District Coordinator Phil
Cahbot, University Republican
Chairman Alex Simon, and
Executive Director for
Students for Schmitz Eric
Royce.
The debate will be broadcast
from the South Meeting room
in Newcomb Hall.
Tomorrow evening WTJU
and WUVA will join forces to
broadcast the complete
election returns beginning at 6
p.m. The combined staff of 85
newsmen will be stationed at
key posts around the state
providing live reports on
statewide results.
During the early evening
hours when reports are
scattered, the Virginia Radio
Network will produce
expanded background reports
narrating the Democratic and
Republican campaigns.

Chairman of the National
Caucus of Labor Committees
(NCLC) and a leading Marxist,
L. Marcus will speak today at
8. p.m. in room 4-A of
Newcomb Hall on "Zero
Population Growth" the
Political Economy of Fascism.
E.U. Registration
The Experimental University
is holding its Fall Registration
today in the Rotunda from 3
until 8 p.m. Thirty courses will
be represented and registration
will be on a first–
come-first-served basis.
