Q: Where can I find a notary public at
University?

A: There is a notary public in the director's
office at Newcomb Hall, one in Garret Hall, and
one in the Engineering School.

Q: My leather coat was ruined when I had it
cleaned. The cleaner agreed to re-dye it in the
spring, but it still hasn't been returned to me.
Can Action Line help?

A: Many leather coats contain dye, which
often disappears during the dry cleaning
process. This dye is often hard to obtain since
many coat-makers manufacture their own
special dye. This is why it has taken so long to
get your coat back. When Action Line called
the cleaners, the coat had just been sent to a
leather-dying specialist in Baltimore.

Q: The path that runs from the corner of
the Law School parking lot to the concrete
walk from Jefferson Park Avenue to Cabell Hall
parking lot is dangerously slippery. Can steps be
built there?

A: The Law School agreed to request that
Buildings and Grounds undertake a study which
must be completed before the steps can be
built.
