Discusses 'Terror Of Time'

Princeton Professor Speaks Tonight

Three experts in the fields of history,
natural science, and psychiatry will speak on
the grounds today and tomorrow.

Carl E. Schorske, professor of history at
Princeton University, will speak tonight at 8
p.m. on "History and the Terror of Time," and
"Viennese Art and the Crisis of Modernity:
1890-1914."

A European historian, Mr. Schorske was
selected by Time Magazine in 1966 as one of
the ten most outstanding college teachers in the
nation. During the nine years he taught at the
University of California at Berkeley, he was a
prominent supporter of the Free Speech
Movement.

Prabahan K. Kabir, visiting professor of
physics and a member of the Center for
Advanced Studies, will speak on "Symmetrics
in the Laws of Nature" tonight at 8 p.m. in
Gilmer Hall. His lecture is the first in a series
designed to explain recent advances in the
understanding of natural laws.

"Psychiatry in Comprehensive Health and
Human Services" will be the topic of a lecture
by Bernard Bandler of the National Institutes of
Health. Mr. Bandler will speak at 5 p.m.
tomorrow in the Medical School auditorium.
