Petitions Needed For Allocations

Over 25 student organizations that
were allocated funds last spring have
failed to present the necessary
re-recognition petitions. They are,
according to Hugh Antrim, vice president
of the Student Council, therefore
ineligible to pick up their allocated funds
at present.

The organizations and their fund
allocations include the Black Students For
Freedom, the Commerce Council, the
Computer Users Group, Graduate Student
Government, the Gymnastics Club, and the
International Law Journal.

The list also includes the Law Students Civil
Rights Research Group, the Volunteer Services,
the Mechanical Engineers Society, the
Mulholland Society, the Scuba Club, the
Extra-Legal Forum, the Women's Tennis Team,
the Polo Club, the Rifle and Pistol Club, the
Rugby Club, the Sailing Club, the Social
Movements Collection, the Student Dating
Service, the Unicorn Magazine, the Virginia
Players, the Virginia Research Institute, the
Virginia Weekly, WTJU, and the Virginia Law
Review.

The deadline for petitions to be submitted
to the Council is 5 p.m. Wednesday November
5.
