Elected A P A President

Frank Finger

Frank Finger, professor of psychology
at the University, has been named
president-elect of the division of
experimental psychology in the American
Psychological Association.

Mr. Finger will serve one year as
president-elect And one year as president
of the 31,000 member professional
organization.

A member of the University faculty
since 1942, he received the annual
Distinguished Professor award for excellence in
class room teaching from the University Alumni
Association last April.

Mr. Finger, who is also vice president of the
American Association for the Advancement of
Science And chairman of its section on
psychology, is a member of Phi Beta Kappa,
Omicron Delta Kappa And Sigma Xi. He
received his bachelor's And master's degrees
from Syracuse University And his doctorate
from Brown University.
