Rock Sounds Set
For Weekend

An outdoor rock concert on Lambeth Field
and entertainment at the Prism Coffee House
will add to the activities for Homecomings
Weekend.

Theta Delta Chi Fraternity, in association
with Peppy Ownes, a promoter for "Blood,
Sweat and Tears," will sponsor an outdoor rock
concert on Sunday from 2-9 p.m.

The concert will include seven groups
including "Hunger," "Rooth," "Machine," and
"The Race."

Mr. Ownes has stated that if the concert is
successful, he will plan to hold another such
event in the spring featuring "Blood, Sweat and
Tears" or "Creedance Clearwater Revival."

Admission to the concert is free.

The Prism Coffee House on Rugby Road is
also featuring folk and contemporary singers to
entertain the University students this weekend.

Featured at the Prism on Friday night are
Bill Brown, a singer of traditional folk songs
and Greg Beret, a musician of the electric
contemporary scene. On Saturday night, the
Prism will be presenting folk singers from the
Norfolk area.
