Applications Available
For Room Requests
Housing applications for the 1969-70 Session are now available in
the Assignment Office, in the basement of Page House, for those who
wish to file their applications in advance. (Applications for the Lawns,
Ranges, and Cracker Box will not be accepted).
Students may reserve a specific area only if they are able to fill it,
i.e., two students requesting each other as roommates may reserve a
double room; five pairs of mutual requests may reserve a suite in an
Alderman Road House. Those students not having a roommate request
may submit applications stating location preferences which will be
followed if possible when an assignment is made later.
Applications must be accompanied by a $15.00 deposit and will be
accepted by the Assignment Office between 8 and 4 as follows:
All prospective graduate students and fourth and fifth year
upper class undergraduate students - April 7.
All prospective third year upper class undergraduate students - April
8 and 9.
All prospective second year upper class undergraduates - April 10
and 11.
Applications will not be accepted before the day stated.
Designation of Space
Graduate Women: Davis, Long, Mallet, Smith, Tucker, and Venable
Graduate Men: Courtnay, Douglison, Gildersleeve, Holmes, Peters, and
Rogers Houses. (Harrison and McGuffrey Houses are reserved for
first year medical students).
upper class Women: Mary Munford House
upper class Men: Dunnington, Lile, Maupin, Tuttle, and Webb House
