Highlights

High school marching bands
from across the state will
perform during half-time of the
VMI-U.Va. football game
Saturday as the highlight of
Commonwealth Day-Band
Day.
Preceding the football game
there will be a Commonwealth
Day luncheon for Governor
Linwood Holton, state
legislators, and other state
officials in Newcomb Hall.
Friday the Student Legal
Forum is sponsoring Mr.
Holton, who will speak on
"Voter Alienation" at 8:30
p.m. in the New Chemistry
Building.
Other events of the week
include a cross-country meet
with Duke on Friday at 4 p.m.,
a soccer game against the
University of Maryland Sunday
at 2 p.m.
