Parking Fines

A new standardized rate of fines for
parking violations will be initiated at noon
Monday. This system corresponds to that
used by the city and replaces the old
procedure of graduated fines.

Parking overtime, parking with the
wrong side to the curb, parking in an alley,
driveway, or crosswalk, and parking in
loading zones will involve a fine of $2.

Fines of $3 will be levied at those
parking in restricted areas, on the grass, or
for improper parking or parking with the
motor running.

Those who improperly display the
University sticker, park in prohibited zones
or reserved spaces will be fined $5.

Failure to register a motor vehicle will
incur a penalty of $10 while failure to
display a University sticker will result in a
$7.50 fine.

All tickets should be paid within five
days at the Traffic Control Section on
Brandon Avenue. Failure to do so may
result in a further penalty.
