Volunteers Offer
College Tutoring

Madison Hall's Volunteer Community
Service, in its efforts to "serve the
University community's needs," is now
helping to coordinate a tutoring program
for first and second-year men at the
University.

The service, which also coordinates tutoring
services for students in the local area, is run by
James Hainer and Paul Rippey of the Graduate
School of Arts and Sciences.

The tutors are students who have volunteered
to tutor University students. The two
tutoring program coordinators keep a record of
these tutors and assign students needing help in
their course to the tutors.

Students needing help in any of their
courses can sign up for tutoring in the Office of
Volunteer Community Service in Madison Hall.
A charge may be made for the tutoring
depending upon the agreement on fees reached
between the tutor and the individual student.
