Roebuck, Ogle, Wenzl Elected;
Council Fills New Graduate Post

Jim Roebuck and Thurman
Wenzl were elected Student Council
representatives from the Graduate
College of Arts and Sciences and
Bud Ogle was elected for a short
term of one semester in balloting
that finished Tuesday.

Both Messrs. Roebuck and Ogle
have served on the Council during
this year, as the only two representatives
from the Graduate College.
Due to growth of the Graduate
College, one new representative was
added, who from now on will be
elected during the middle of the
school year. The reason for the
mid-year election is that Mr. Ogle
was only re-elected for one semester.

Mr. Ogle ran unopposed for the
short term and A. Sue Ford was the
only other candidate for the two semester
positions on the Student
Council.

The School of Law will hold
elections today and tomorrow for
school officers. Rick Carrell, John
S. Edwards, and Edwin E. Wells,
Jr., are candidates for President of
the Law School. Samuel M. Bradley,
Hunter Hughes, Frand McDermot
and Ralph Scheuer are running
for Vice-President.

The candidates for Secretary are
Kathy Keane and Karen Kincannon.
James Benton, Robert Losey
and John C. Warley, Jr. are the
candidates for Treasurer.

I. Reese Smith, Student Body
President at the Graduate School of
Business Administration, has announced
that the following MBA
candidates have been elected to
represent the School during the
1969-1970 academic year:

I. Lee Chapman, President;
Philip S. Stevenson, Vice President;
John F. Davies, II, Secretary-Treasurer;
Roger H. B. Davis, Jr.,
Student Council Representative; W.
Louis Bissette, Jr., Judiciary Committee
Representative.

All will be in the second-year
class during their terms in office.
Messrs. Chapman and Stevenson
currently represent the first-year
class as president and vice president,
respectively.

In addition to Mr. Smith, the
current officers retiring at Graduation
are: George E. Youmans, Vice
President; William M. Parham, Secretary-
Treasurer; C. E. Angle,
Student Council Representative;
and Richard C. Kreutzberg.
