Wine Connoisseur To Give Talk
In Alumni Hall
According to the Bible, we
should "Drink no longer water,
but use a little wine for thy
stomach's sake." Tomorrow night
at 8 p.m., Robert J. Misch, distinguished
"chevalier du tastevin,"
connoisseur of fine cuisine, author
and lecturer, will speak in
Alumni Hall on the essentials of
wines and their service.
Mr. Misch graduated magna
cum laude from Dartmouth, and
has since been an "advertising
man by profession, traveler by
advocation, author by compulsion,
and wine connoisseur by
decision."
He frequently contributes to
such publications as Esquire,
Harper's Bazaar, the New York
Times, and has made numerous
guest appearances on radio and
TV.
Throughout his travels, Mr.
Misch has had the opportunity to
sample the best in wines and
foreign foods. He claims, however,
that he has no favorite wine
nor any preference for a particular
national cuisine. "I'm very
catholic in my tastes," he claims.
