—Frank B. Canfield, director of the department of chemical
engineering at the University of Oklahoma, will speak on the
sources of energy 100 years from now before the chemical engineering
colloquium at 4 p.m. in the Aero-Mechanical building
auditorium.

—John H. Gibbons, a physicist at Oak Ridge Laboratory in
Tennessee, will speak in room 204 of the physics building at 4
p.m. on "Clues from Neutron Capture to the Origins of Heavy
Elements in Stars."

—Thomas A. Matthews, professor of astronomy at the University
of Maryland, will speak in the National Radio Astronomy
Auditorium on some aspect of astronomy. Mr. Matthews has
done pioneer work on the first known "quasi-star."

—Ephraim Fischoff, professor of humanities at Lynchburg
College, will deliver an address at the Hillel Foundation at 8
p.m. on "The Jewish - Christian Dialogue through the Ages."

Tomorrow

—Ephraim Fischoff will again speak at the Hillel Foundation,
this time at 11:30 a.m. on "The Contemporary Issues of the
Jewish - Christian Dialogue."

—Rabbi Oscar Groner, Assistant National Director of the
B'nai B'rith Hillel Foundations, will speak tomorrow at 1 p.m.
at the Hillel Foundation on "The Jewish - Christian Dialogue
on the Campus."

Sunday

—The Reverend Beverly A. Asbury, Dean of the Chapel at
Vanderbilt University will be guest preacher at the 9:30 and 11
a.m. services at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Monday

—James Merrill, American poet and novelist, will present
readings from his works at 8:15 p.m. in the McGregor room
of Alderman Library, as one speech in the Balch lecture series
for this season.
